Job DescriptionHyatt Regency Denver Tech Center is seeking an
Assistant Front Office Manager to join our team of hospitality
professionals! This is an ideal position for someone with hotel

Front Office Manager is responsible for:
- Assist the Director of Rooms in duties associated with
supporting the Front Office and ensuring the team is set up for
success
- Train new hires and participate in ongoing training with
existing colleagues
- Assist the Director of Rooms and rooms management team with
strategizing and execution of action plans to ensure guest service
scores are at or above brand standard
- Provide input to the Director of Rooms and participate in the
hiring, training, scheduling, performance evaluation, payroll,
labor and P&L review, coaching and counseling of Front Desk
team.
- Serve as department expert and resource on programs such as
brand loyalty program, property management system, HotSOS, HySat,
GEM, etc. Ensure that team is consistently and effectively using
resources to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Maintain knowledge of Accounting procedures and ensure they are
followed by team members, including cash shift drops, posting of
charges, obtaining proper and complete credit card authorizations,
tax exemption documentation and correctly adjusting charges as
needed.
- Ensure that Westmont Hospitality policies and Hyatt brand
standards are adhered to at all times
- Ensure coverage of all required duties of the Front Office in
the absence of the Director of Rooms. Serve as Manager on Duty as
required.
- This position will be responsible for shift coverage and the
duties associated with the positions of Front Desk Agent / Night
Auditor, including checking guests in and out, responding to guest
calls and questions, completing shift checklists, etc. This
position will typically supervise a shift of Front Office
Agents.The ideal candidate for this positionMinimum 2 years' hotel
front desk experience, preferably at an upscale hospitality
environment, or supervisory/management experience at a select
service hotel. Previous experience with Opera PMS strongly
preferred. Strong communication skillsAbility to de-escalate
situations with guests and employees while maintaining a calm
demeanor Reading and writing abilities are utilized often when
completing paperwork and management reports, interpreting results,
giving and receiving instructions and training Mathematical skills,
including basic math, budgeting, profit/loss concepts, percentages,
and variances are utilized frequently. Problem solving, reasoning,
motivating, organizational and training abilities are sued often.
May be required to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays.Benefits:
