A ROLE YOU WILL LOVE Responsible for the research and processing of Escrow functions to include escrow administration, taxes, MI insurance, and/or hazard insurance. Primary Accountabilities

  • Research and Review- Conduct loan-level research
  • Communicate effectively (written and verbal) with vendors, MI carriers and investors
  • Coordinate with the Cashiering and Finance departments for outgoing tax payments, incoming/outgoing wires, and returned/refunded tax payments and with the MI Claims departments for any MI refund/return issues
  • Create and/or maintain escrow processing department written procedures
  • Other duties or tasks as assigned by management. WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU Required:

    • Ability to work effectively under daily and monthly deadlines while maintaining a strong attention to detail. Preferred:
      • Preferred intermediate personal computer skills utilizing Microsoft Office/Windows based applications, including Word, Outlook, Excel, and Access KEY QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.         • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
        • Preferred: Some college
        • Preferred: Mortgage servicing experience Language Ability Ability to read/comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos; write simple correspondence; effectively present information in one-on-one/small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization Mathematical Ability Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
