Job DescriptionCollegiate Peaks Bank, a division of Glacier Bank is searching for a candidate that would like to join a highly profitable and growing bank. The ideal candidate for the proposed position is an individual that is highly detail oriented, organized, and has an understanding of mathematical formulas and valuations associated with appraisals, borrowing base certificates and covenant compliance reports.The individual candidate would fulfill a bridge between loan production and credit risk administration.Primary Duties/Responsibilities:Facilitate and maintain communication between loan officer, customers, branch staff, outside vendors, title company closing agents and insurance companies. Oversee loan officer(s) pipeline schedules and deadlines while managing calendar.Demonstrate understanding of TRID time line and documentation requirements and ensure information is given to Loan Operations in time to prepare and deliver disclosures and documents timely.Assist customers and officer(s) with the processing of loan payments, loan advances, construction advances, DDA transfers and wire transfer orders connected to loan closings. Also identify and resolve errors and discrepancies with the above requests.Close consumer, commercial, real estate, letters of credit and SBA loans for the Denver Region of Collegiate Peaks Bank, when necessary.Collect all required paperwork and submit to Loan Operations for preparing loan documentation, including forms for ordering documents for new or renewed loans, flood certificates, title work, appraisal engagements, pulling UCC lien searches and credit reports.Review all loan documents to ensure they are complete & accurate according to loan write-up and policies and procedures prior to loan closing. Schedule and perform loan closings, loan bookings and record all appropriate collateral documents. Order title commitments and demonstrate an understanding of the title requirements to be satisfied before closing on residential and commercial properties. Read, understand and balance a Closing Disclosure as prepared by the closing title company (includes both buyer and seller columns) for consumer transactions.Read, understand and balance a HUD (1) and two column Settlement Statement prepared by the closing title company for commercial loans.Prepare loan payoff letters as requested.Assist assigned loan officer with the NSF/OD accounts daily. Assist officer in the monitoring of past due reports and contact customers if needed to receive payment. Assist officer in the monitoring of loan and certificate of deposit maturing reports.Track and resolve outstanding loan exception items in loan document imaging system including exceptions for missing or expired loan documents. Research and clear exceptions in a timely manner. Advise assigned loan officer(s) of all loan exceptions. Scan loan documents and ensure they are imaged to correct templates and properly labeled in the loan document imaging system. Set expiration date(s) on documents as needed. Trouble shoot errors and verify the image quality. Demonstrate knowledge of all products offered by Collegiate Peaks Bank.Qualify for and perform the duties of a Notary Public of the State of Colorado, including understanding the responsibilities of a notary as defined by [12-55-102 (3)] C.R.S.Perform job functions in compliance with all company policies, federal and state rules and regulations as applicable to the position, including, but not limited to BSA/AML, OFAC, and GLBA/privacy rules.Other duties as assignedQualifications: High School Diploma or equivalentUndergraduate degree in business, finance, or economics preferred;One to three years of commercial credit analysis experience preferred;Ability to read and understand individual and business tax returns, audited or reviewed financial statements, and company prepared profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and statement of cash flows preferred;Must be able to effectively communicate using the written format;Must be willing and able to master a proprietary underwriting system;Must have the ability to function without daily oversight; must be self-motivated and self-disciplined;Must have excellent organizational skills to manage the underwriting of several loans concurrently;Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel;Must be willing and comfortable to join lending officers in meetings with existing or prospective bank customers, when necessary;Must be able to multi-task, be flexible, and able to function with frequent interruptionsCOMPENSATION: Salary is negotiable depending upon relevant experience.
