Denver Metropolitan areas)Position Summary:We are seeking a highly
technical and strategic Senior Manager to lead our growing
Analytics team. This role requires deep expertise in data analysis
and stakeholder management. The ideal candidate will have a strong
background in managing and mentoring teams, prioritizing
business-critical requests, and establishing a scalable data
foundation to support business decisions. With more than 6 years of
experience in data analytics, this leader will drive efficiency,
consistency, and innovation within the organization's Analytics
team.Position Responsibilities:
- Leadership & Team Management
- Lead and mentor a team of data analysts, ensuring professional
growth and operational efficiency.
- Set priorities, manage workloads, and ensure the team meets key
business objectives.
- Foster a data-driven culture across the organization by
promoting analytics best practices.
- Lead virtual and in-person trainings and demonstrations,
facilitating adoption of new tools and best practices aligned with
organizational objectives.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive data analytics strategy
to align with business goals.
- Establish scalable analytics processes that provide actionable
insights efficiently.
- Identify opportunities for process optimization, automation,
and improved reporting methodologies.
- Ensure data and process integrity by developing and maintaining
clear documentation of standard practices.
- Actionable Insights
- Lead cross-functional projects using advanced data modeling and
analysis techniques to guide business strategy and uncover process
optimization and automation opportunities.
- Translate complex data findings into actionable insights,
creating visualizations and presentations for stakeholders ranging
from operational teams to executive leadership.
- Enhance production of proactive and consultative analytics to
support informed business decision-making.
- Stakeholder Collaboration & Communication
- Partner with product managers, business leaders, and clients to
understand analytics needs and prioritize requests
accordingly.
- Proactively manage and foster stakeholder relationships by
acting as a strategic, consultative advisor with a keen
understanding of business objectives.
- Advocate for data-driven decision-making across teams and
leadership.
- Compliance and Quality Control
- Ensure adherence to company compliance standards, including
reporting any noncompliance.
- Support the development and implementation of quality controls
and departmental standards to satisfy organizational and regulatory
requirements.
- Participate in internal training sessions to support continued
learning and development.
- Responsible for adherence to the Capital Rx Code of Conduct
including reporting of noncompliance.Minimum Qualifications:
- 6+ years of experience in data analytics, business
intelligence, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in PBM, health plans, healthcare, or
Medicare.
- Experience working with pharmacy claims data, medical claims
data, and client reporting metrics.
- Expertise in SQL, Python, or R for data analysis, with strong
coding hygiene and documentation practices.
- Experience leading complex analyses, relating varying subject
matters (finance, clinical, compliance, etc.) to produce cohesive
and compelling business narratives.
- Track record of partnering closely with internal and external
stakeholders to provide consultative analytics support, proactively
advising on business opportunities.
- Strong knowledge of data engineering fundamentals and working
with cloud-based data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery,
Redshift).
- Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a
fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with
the ability to present complex data insights to executives.
- Track record of leading cross-functional initiatives, driving
high performance, meeting deadlines, and executing on
deliverables.Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in large-scale, high-growth
organizations.
- Knowledge of machine learning or advanced statistical modeling
techniques.
- Familiarity with Agile project management methodologies.
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Actuarial Science,
Statistics, Economics, or a related field.
