Job Description:
The Finance Manager will play a critical role in supporting the
financial operations of the company, ensuring effective financial
management, planning, and reporting to support the company's
strategic goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background
in finance and accounting, preferably within the manufacturing or
agribusiness sector, with a particular focus on flour milling
operations. Financial Planning and Analysis:
Support the company's financial planning processes.
Prepare financial forecasts, budgets, and long-term financial
plans.
Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and
opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements.
Provide actionable insights and recommendations to senior
management to support strategic decision-making.
Financial Reporting:
Ensure accurate and timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and
annual financial statements.
Oversee the preparation of management reports, including profit and
loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
Ensure compliance with all statutory reporting requirements and
internal financial policies.
-- Cost Management:
Monitor and control the company's operating expenses and cost
structures.
Work closely with production and supply chain teams to optimize
cost efficiency in the milling process.
Implement and manage cost control initiatives to maintain
profitability.
Cash Flow Management:
Support the company's cash flow to ensure sufficient liquidity for
operational needs.
Support accounts receivable and accounts payable processes.
Team Leadership:
Foster a culture of continuous improvement and financial discipline
within the team.
Risk Management:
Identify and manage financial risks, including commodity price
volatility, currency fluctuations, and interest rate changes.
Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies.
Strategic Contribution:
Contribute to the company's strategic planning process, providing
financial insights and projections.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment between
financial goals and operational activities.
FINANCE MANAGER QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) in accounting or finance, CPA a plus.
Five plus years working with related experience, preferrable in a
manufacturing industry.
Demonstrated ability to supervise and motivate subordinates.
Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
and experience with financial reporting and analysis.
Proficient in using accounting software and ERP systems. Advanced
Excel required.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability
to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability
to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Basic competence in duties and tasks of supervised employees.
Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within
constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.
Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to work
independently and manage multiple priorities.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Frequently use hands, arms, and fingers for high volume of typing,
etc.
Occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
