Job Description:

As an Accounting Associate, you will have the ability to accelerate your professional career by working directly with the Accounting Manager to evaluate and manage all accounting and financial affairs of a rapidly growing organization in the beautiful Colorado Springs area. This candidate should have a clear understanding of GAAP, A/R, A/P, G/L, and month-end close activities.

Success in the role of an Accounting Associate will come from the ability to identify trends and review reports as they relate to billing and revenue, providing analysis to the Accounting Manager, as well as other team members, as necessary. This individual will work under minimal supervision, and should possess an independent, results-driven personality.

Qualifications:

*Associated degree in Accounting or Finance, or related Business degree

*Minimum of one year accounting experience is preferred

*Proficiency with Microsoft Excel

*Experience with Oracle, Quickbooks or other accounting packages is a plus!

*Occasional overtime may be requested
