Senior Staff Accountant
As a Senior Staff Accountant, you will play a vital role on our client's finance team, supporting their manufacturing operations. Your responsibilities will include financial reporting, cost analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.   Responsibilities of the Senior Staff Accountant:
  
  • Prepare and analyze accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, adhering to accounting principles and company policies
    
  • Oversee and maintain the accurate records of the general ledger, ensuring proper classification and recording of financial transactions and reconciling accounts regularly
    
  • Collaborate with management to develop annual budgets and quarterly forecasts, monitoring performance against targets and providing variance analysis and recommendations
    
  • Assist in coordinating external audits and internal control assessments
    
  • Conduct detailed analysis of costs, expenses, and variances, and make recommendations to leadership for cost optimization and efficiency improvements to support the company's financial goals
    Qualifications of the Senior Staff Accountant:
    
    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or public accounting experience preferred
      
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting
      
    • Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and financial reporting standards
      
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail
      
    • Manufacturing experience preferred
      
    • Experience with ERP systems is a plus
