Job Description:

The Accounts Payable Processor functions with independence. He/she receives and distributes supplier purchase orders, invoices, audits invoices, performs data input of invoices, and researches and resolves routine invoice/payment inquiries and assist with annual audits and city and state sales/use tax audits.
Essential Duties:

  • Audit supplier invoices for proper amounts/coding/sales tax/approval and adherence to policy, correct coding when needed, and input for payment into the Oracle Fusion Accounts Payable system.
  • Review, audit and enter purchase orders.
  • Identify issues with purchase orders/vouchers/invoices and route to the proper department for resolution.
  • Perform research and process paperwork for routine supplier inquiries and requests for information from other department.
  • Assist AP Supervisor and Manager with the annual audits, and city and state sales/use tax audits as needed.
  • Maintain good relationships with fellow employees and staff in other RE/MAX departments.
  • Responsible for adhering to Accounts Payable internal controls.
  • Fully understanding sales and use tax to appropriately assess when needed
  • Scan, code and process 500 invoices per month with an average volume totaling $2m Qualifications, Skills, Experience:
    • High school diploma required.
    • 1-2 years work experience in a clerical accounting position, preferably with accounts payable processing experience.
    • Experience with computerized accounting/accounts payable software and MS Excel, and other MS business software.
    • Knowledge of basic accounting including journal entries and internal AP controls.
    • Good communication skills with suppliers and RE/MAX employees.
    • Ability to build and maintain good working relationships with suppliers, peers, staff, managers, and all departments in the company. Hire Range/Rate:
      $38,000 - $45,000
      Actual compensation offered to candidate will be finalized at offer and may be above or below the posted range due to skill level, experience, industry specific knowledge, education/certifications, or geographic location. The offer rate represents one component of the RE/MAX Holdings total compensation package. Employees will also receive a number of benefits as listed below. Other compensation for this position may include bonus eligibility.
