Job Description

U.S. Bank is hiring a Senior Commercial Real Estate Relationship Manager to cover clients in the Colorado market. The RM will be responsible for assisting Colorado-based clients with loan, depository and capital market solutions tailored to their needs. As a national bank, the RM will have the ability to follow his/her client throughout the geographic footprint of the United States. In addition to managing an established portfolio of commercial real estate loans, the RM will help to grow the platform through conversion of top prospects in the Colorado market. US Bank CRE is active in construction loans, term loans, subscription facilities and both secured and unsecured revolving credit facilities.

The ideal candidate will have a solid commercial real estate underwriting background which can be leveraged in evaluating and structuring new loan opportunities. Demonstrated business development and prospecting skills are critical to the success of the candidate. US Bank is a team-based environment and the RM will be expected to develop internal relationships with portfolio management, underwriting, credit, and product partners such as capital markets, treasury management, syndications, and others.

Job Function & Responsibilities

---Solicits, develops, and services a wide variety of real estate commercial loans including but not limited to real estate investments, income property, development, and construction loans

---Demonstrates first-class customer care with the ability to manage clients, credit, and the internal underwriting team

---Acts as a financial advisor to clients

---Oversees the credit approval process and manages portfolio credit quality Sustains profitability and growth of portfolio

---Exemplifies a strong underwriting background

---Grows revenue as directed by senior management by successfully prospecting for new business and retaining and expanding existing relationships

Basic Qualifications

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting/other related field, or equivalent work experience

- Seven or more years of commercial real estate lending experience

Preferred Skills/Experience

---Considerable knowledge and experience in handling and increasing a sizable and challenging portfolio of commercial real estate loans

---Strong leadership and strategic management skills

---Well-developed analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills

---Advanced knowledge of credit and credit quality

---Thorough knowledge of bank products and services

---Ability to work effectively with individuals and groups in managing customer relationships

---Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills

    The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, US Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401k contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $140,930.00 - $165,800.00 - $182,380.00
