As the CFO you'll get to:

  • Serve as the Finance expert of the Mavrck Senior Leadership Team, reporting to the CEO, and collaborate with executives across the company to achieve company goals and realize the Mavrck vision of Social Proof as Currency
  • Manage the corporate people, process, policy, partners, systems and data required to oversee the company's fiscal activity across all business units, including financial planning, analysis, budgeting, fiscal reporting, accounting, auditing and procurement processes
  • Maintain consolidated company financial statements and financial model across company business units and continually improve the model to be more robust and predictive
  • Manage the people, partners, and systems required to handle the company's corporate legal matters
  • Ensure corporate legal and regulatory documents are filed and monitor compliance with laws and regulations
  • Proactively identify and address financial risks to mitigate and opportunities to invest in at the corporate level or business unit level
  • Assist the CEO in managing the cash runway of the business, including equity or debt financings, banking relationships and cash management optimizations (AR/AP) and approval of expenditures
  • Collaborate with the CEO to manage communication and engagement with the company Board of Directors
  • Recruit and retain top talent for the corporate finance team at Mavrck

    Required:
    • 15+ years of experience in Finance/Accounting
    • 5+ years as a CFO in a company doing $100M+ in annual revenue
    • Public company CFO experience
    • Detail-oriented and proactive communicator
    • Remote location acceptable (Boston preferred)
      Preferred:
      • Experience taking a company public via IPO
      • Experience managing merger and acquisitions, buy-side or sell-side
      • Experience presenting to company Board of Directors
      • Experience managing new financing rounds for high growth startup
      • Experience managing relationship with company contracts and legal resources
      • Experience working at company with dual-sided marketplace dynamics
      • Experience working at a SaaS company
      • Experience working in martech or adtech
      • MBA in relevant field of study
      • CFA / CPA
