Financial Manager - Business AnalyticsSummary:This key role will manage the concept/marketing analysis that supports the company's financial growth and profit requirements. This will include developing executive dashboards, performance metrics (KPIs), optimization models and other reports. The successful candidate will be a pro-active business partner with department heads to ensure decision-making drives business results through sound assessments and strategic insights.The Financial Manager, Business Analytics will have a proven ability to manage multiple analytical projects in a fast-paced work environment and be able to integrate data, tools, processes, and systems from different areas (Marketing, Supply Chain, and Finance) within the company and, ensure effective deployment of this intelligence into the business. Also, the finance manager will have excellent communication skills, both written and oral, and the ability to express complex ideas concisely to all levels (internal and external).Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities:Provide consultation and perspective to the corporate leadership heads of Marketing, Supply Chain, and Finance for key decisions with significant volume, profit, and consumer/marketplace implicationsSupports the Director of Finance, VP of Finance and CFO with metrics and insight for quarter end external conference calls and presentations.Direct responsibility for at least one analyst with the ability to provide individual professional development.Manages team of analysts who perform Hypothesis Testing, A/B Testing, and other modeling analyses.Performs Hypothesis Testing, A/B Testing, and other similar modeling analyses.Develop strong cross-functional relationships and ensure integration of knowledge across key functional groups to yield critical business insightsDevelops and builds fact-based and performance-based analysis to determine viability and profitability of business cases.Manage the Marketing analysis function that will provide action-oriented analytics to business leadership for corporate and concept level decision making. Areas of focus include:Sales forecastingMenu price optimizationMenu mix and COGS usage analysisMarketing campaign analysisMarketing Mix ModelingEnsure effective utilization, translation and integration of consumer and marketplace knowledge to provide insights that drive business strategy and tacticsActs as consultant to other cross-functional teams (i.e., Development & Real Estate by building financial models to represent prospective deals of acquisition, disposition, and new development).Education:Required Bachelor's degree in Finance, Statistics, Math, or Economics.Skill / Experience:Required 5-7 years' experience with a quantitative and qualitative analytical background.Preferred experience in the Restaurant Industry (i.e., Casual Dinning).Superb communication skills, both written and oral, as well as the ability to express complex ideas in a concise manner to all levels (internal and external).Required advanced consulting skills: This individual must possess strong business acumen and superior quantitative skills.Excellent project management skills, with the ability to delegate and manage multiple priorities while building positive relationships with internal and external business partners.Preferred experience with APT (Applied Predictive Technology), Data Visualization tools (i.e., PowerBI), and scripting languages such as Python, R, SQL.Preferred experience with Marketing Mix modeling (i.e., Digital Deep Dives), Forecasting (i.e., New Product/Restaurant), Pricing and Marketing Promotions modeling, Customer Loyalty and Ad-hoc analytics.Required proficient Microsoft Skills (Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, Access)Benefits:Annual bonus opportunityPaid time off and holidaysHealth, vision, dental, life insurance plans, and discounts401(k) savings plan plus a company match with immediate vestingEligible to participate in the employee stock purchase plan after 1 year of continuous employmentDiscounts on Red Robin foodCompensation Range: $97,600.00 - $134,200.00Red Robin is an Equal Opportunity & E-Verify Employer#rrfinancialmanager #date042122
