Job Description:

The Lincoln Group has partnered with a client in the oil & gas sector looking to add a newly created Staff Accountant to their high-performing team. The Staff Accountant supports the accounting department and the Assistant Controller as needed.
Work Location: Full-Time In-Office Position
Compensation: $50,000 - $60,000 (depending on education and experience)
Key Tasks

• Assist team with general ledger accounting
• Record all necessary ACH, wire, and bank transactions for multiple entities in the accounting system
• Credit Card Receipts Reconciliation
• Reconcile General Ledger accounts monthly
• Bank Reconciliations
• Property Tax Reconciliation and annual filling
• Sales Tax Filling
• Work with management and accounting team members with special projects and ad hoc reporting
  Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • 3 years relevant accounting experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business (Accounting preferred)
  • Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook), Microsoft Access is a plus
  • Must demonstrate dependable, regular attendance
  • Ability to complete routine work with minimal direction from supervisor
  • Ability to exercise some judgment within job scope
  • Skilled in organization and attention to detail
  • Ability to assist accounting clerks with routine inquiries
