Role: As a Business Development Specialist, you will be part of a dynamic team responsible for establishing the initial relationship with our clients and supporting them from opening their account through the funding and purchase of their investment. You will have the opportunity to directly impact our clients' success (and thus our success as a company) by providing personalized phone and email touch points, as well as educating them on their journey. This role will report to the Sales and Marketing Manager and will be primarily a work-from-home position, with occasional meetings in the Louisville, Colorado office for collaborative team meetings and quarterly business reviews. RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Build and nurture strong relationships with new clients and investment professionals, while guiding the new account onboarding process.
  • Engage with prospective and current clients by answering any account-related questions via phone, email, or video chat.
  • Set clients up for continued success by educating on self-direction best practices and easy account management opportunities.
  • Create expanded business and referral opportunities by championing our services and advocating on behalf of clients to improve and streamline new internal processes and workflows.
  • Parter with other internal departments such as Client Services, Transfers, and Asset Management to ensure an efficient and smooth client onboarding process.
    REQUIREMENTS:
    • Undergraduate degree in business, finance or accounting with 2+ years of experience. Financial services industry experience a plus.
    • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software, such as Salesforce.com or Oracle
    • Client service orientation, with ability to balance independent and team workflow
    • Strong communication, listening and critical thinking skills, with history of achieving sales targets
      SUCCESS METRICS:
      • Measured based on quarterly and annual reviews with goals and KPIs
      • Measured based upon feedback from manager and peers EMPLOYMENT TYPE:
