About the role As a Senior Accountant you maintain the day-to-day accounting functions, accruals, financial statement preparation, and perform general accounting functions, as required. You also communicate effectively, possess a high degree of passion for our improving processes, work well in a team environment, thrive in a fast-paced culture, and bring a proven accounting background to the organization What Impact you will have:

• Manage all aspects of accounting, including: accounts payable, accounts receivable, tax compliance, billing, financial statements, general ledger, payroll allocation, inventory accounting, revenue recognition etc
• Month-end closes and reconciliations of all balance sheet accounts
• Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements, reports and journal entries
• Maintain and manage fixed assets / depreciation schedules
• Manage and maintain schedules of recurring expenses
• Prepare and file annual 1099's
• Assistance with the annual budget and year-end review process
• Handle expense reporting with Expensify
• Monitor cash and funding balances
• Organize information and statements for audits from both internal and external auditors
• Assist with reporting for board meetings and investor calls What you bring to the role:
  • Expert level proficiency in accounting software, including QuickBooks Online
  • Solid knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
  • 5+ years Full Charge Bookkeeping / Accounting experience
  • Expert level proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel)
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced work environment
  • Organized and detail oriented
  • Able to complete tasks accurately and timely with minimal supervision
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • ERP implementation experience preferred, but not required
  • CPA preferred, but not required What we offer:
