Job Description:
About the Job:
This position will be mainly responsible for supporting the CFO and
Accounting Manager. The Accounting Assistant will be responsible
for opening up the CFO?s schedule through absorbing the
administrative tasks that are integral to the day-to-day successes
of this amazing Company. This will include (but not be limited to)
handling the bid and PO process, invoicing the customer, handling
receivables, make sure that the company process is in compliance
and stay up-to-date on other industry specific regulations. Other
responsibilities may include additional administrative support,
creating and maintaining proposals, reports and sharing in the
?thinking 10 steps ahead? philosophy of doing business. The person
in this role needs to do the research and work necessary to be able
to make the best decisions possible for the company. Employees who
take pride in what they do and who are willing to give their all
will fit in well with this company. We are looking for an
individual who has an entrepreneurial mentality and can run the
office like it is their very own
Essential Duties:
?Processes client invoices for multiple profit centers for
?Assist with and prepare bank financial documentation
?Process bids and assist in looking for new business
opportunities
?Updates and maintains license and maintenance databases
?Maintains accounts receivable and processing of cash receipts
?Responds to all customer and internal requests in a timely and
professional manner
?Prepares routine and ad hoc reports using Excel and Word
?Calculates appropriate sales taxes on invoices
Requirements
A Bachelor?s degree in Accounting, finance or a related field
preferred but will consider 4+ years career experience in lieu of.
