This role requires a balance of technical experience in dealing with data, data sources, and reporting platforms with business acumen and the understanding of how to create intuitive reports, insights, and actionable intelligence. This is a key strategic role for the company as the Senior Data Analyst will support the media team by providing campaign analytics that promote actionable insights and optimization, as well as help define new opportunities and goals for the company based on their analysis.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate, present, educate, and provide reporting to cross-departmental teams to develop a cohesive and comprehensive understanding of the key drivers of the business.
• Develop relationships with co-workers, leadership, and key stakeholders and possess the communication skills and confidence to deliver technical information to non-technical audiences.
• Analyze internal and external tracking data, publisher cost, and client success metrics to identify patterns and provide actionable insights.
• Develop, maintain, and provide training for enterprise-level dashboards and reports to guide business decisions and support company KPIs.
• Present recommendations to media team based on insights and actionable intelligence.
• Analyze web and mobile behavior, conversion trends, and success metrics to identify patterns and realize product opportunities.
• Update and fine-tune publisher scorecard to show relative rankings across our partner network.
• Support yield team decision making by providing key insights about our publisher partners.
• Work with other analysts across the various lines of business to develop a unified publisher reporting system that provides a comprehensive breakdown of campaign metrics.
• Work with application and data engineers to develop, implement and optimize data management processes to design self-serve reporting and analytics solutions using all available tools. May occasionally profile and/or validate data in the data warehouse to ensure accuracy.
• Lead and mentor other analysts on tools, approaches, and how to reach clear, actionable recommendations.
  
  Requirements
  
  • Experience: 5+ years of relevant work experience in analytics and data
  • BA/BS in Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Marketing, Economics or related field (MBA is a plus)
  • Complex problem solving skills and ability to work with large amounts of data. Ability to use data to produce insights.
  • Well-versed in the core MS Office suite programs and an advanced user of Excel including the ability to use formulas, functions, and pivot tables.
  • Intermediate to advanced SQL knowledge. Experience in data profiling and solid understanding of data warehousing a plus.
  • Intermediate to advanced experience working with creating reports and dashboards using Tableau Desktop. Experience with Tableau Server a plus.
  • Experience and confidence with business operations as well as technology: must understand how the web, analytics, and databases work. Experience data profiling, business process modeling, or system analysis a plus.
  • Expert knowledge with DoubleClick (DFP & DFA), Google AdWords, Google Analytics data sources and in utilizing BI tools (Tableau) to build reports, dashboards and provide insights into those data sources.
  • Exceptionally high standards in communicating the results of analysis in a clear and effective manner.
  • Experience working with JIRA or similar project management systems on Agile Scrum/Kanban projects a plus.
  • Experience working with multi-disciplinary teams, external partners/clients, and managing stakeholders. Strong cross functional leadership and consensus building.

      • Salary Range: $125,000 to $132,500
