Job Description:

The Senior Director, Compensation and Benefits is accountable for the design and development, and successful implementation and execution of LogistiCare's compensation program, and associated commission plans, benefits offerings, and employee brand and value proposition. This role is also responsible for the related communications and aligning and quantifying total rewards to the enterprise strategy and operation plans. This position provides an outstanding charter-level opportunity for building a dynamic total rewards program and the respective major components. This position needs to build partnerships and business relationships with all major internal constituencies. Informal and formal communications programs need to be created to keep all parties thoroughly informed and engaged. This position will contribute substantially to mergers and acquisitions and subsequent integrations. This role will strongly collaborate with and support the SVP of HR on strategic initiatives and executive compensation. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS * Contribute to measurable performance criteria for 3rd party partners that provide information and services for compensation, benefits, and technology including 3rd party partner evaluations and selection. * Orchestrate industry leading and innovative rewards programs. * Build, lead, and develop a talented and high-performing Total Rewards department. * Ensure compliance with all related regulations for all compensation, benefit, and payroll programs both domestically and globally. This includes keeping abreast of new or changing regulations and how they impact the company. * Direct the strategic design, planning, implementation, communication, and administration of the full spectrum of compensation and benefit programs, including: Base Pay, Incentives, Equity, Retirement, and Healthcare. * Lead the annual compensation planning cycles, providing expert advice on the design, development, and administration of Executive Compensation, Sales Compensation, and employee compensation programs salary structure, base salary adjustments, and short and long-term incentive plans. * Keep current with trends and best practices in Total Rewards and making recommendations on what the implications and opportunities are for the organization. * Foster a collaborative and harmonious working environment that maximizes employee morale, performance, and innovation. * Lead and support rapid transformation and high growth and the related demands that it requires. * Identify most appropriate metrics and reporting to track and analyze in order to support informed business and strategy decisions. * Partner closely with Finance and Legal, and other G&A organizations to ensure efficient delivery and communications of respective programs, audits, budgets, and projects. EDUCATION & EXPEREINCE * 15 plus years of hands on experience in Compensation and Benefits. * 5 to 10 years in senior-level capacity in a publicly traded company or a division of a Fortune 500 company; experience must include a successful track record of Compensation Committee presentations and related partnerships that earned respect, confidence, and trust of the Compensation Committee members. * Hands on knowledge and record of accomplishment in business financials including budgeting, forecasting, and P&L reporting and related variance analysis. * Strong management, analytical, and communications skills. * Ability to lead a team from strategy development, to planning, and to successful implementation. * Results driven with a proven record of executing major projects and strategic initiatives. * Program and project management subject matter expertise and experience; related certifications/accreditations are preferred. * Experience in cultures that are complex, fast moving, agile, and flexible with an entrepreneurial environment. * Strong strategic skills as well as ability to roll up sleeves and execute. * Extensive and successful experience working with the C-Suite executives fully explaining their compensation and benefits resulting in their understanding and appreciation of their pay programs thus contributing to retention. * Excellent written and oral communication skills and ability to relate to all levels of organization and employees. * Substantial experience with merger and acquisition technology and organization integration. * Bachelor's degree in a related field is required; Master's degree preferred; * Commensurate accreditations/certifications such as CCEBS or CCP are highly preferred. * Strong business acumen, financially astute, and ability to quantitatively model and problem solve. * A high energy level, a hands-on management style, excellent presentation skills, and excellent interpersonal skills. Must possess a fundamental intellectual curiosity around personal growth and learning. * Excellent communications skills and "executive presence;" ability to forge strong partnerships with key stakeholders across LogistiCare; ability to sort through complex issues and translate and communicate them in a clear, concise manner. * Detail-oriented and having a passion for service and delivery that results in exceeding expectations with every interaction. * In addition to comprehensive compensation and benefits experience, must have a strong understanding of finance and technology. * Entrepreneurship in being able to thrive and succeed in a lean environment exhibiting a sense of urgency, maximizing limited resources and deploying sound decision making in a proper timeframe. * Someone eager to be a major contributor and "impact player" and possessing a "problem solver" mindset. * An excellent communicator able to articulate the core values, mission of LogistiCare and able to translate all team members' activities into meaningful deliverables and contributions to the firm's overall success. * Highly motivated with a burning desire to succeed and overcome challenges as well as being a person of unquestioned personal integrity and strong work ethic. * Ability to scale with a high-growth business. * Accomplished business, process and quality acumen.
